Gestalt Therapy Sydney Philosophy


Gestalt Therapy Sydney (GTS) offers a PACFA and GANZ accredited 4 year training program in Gestalt Therapy as well as numerous personal development and professional training for anyone wanting to apply the principles of Gestalt Therapy into their daily and / or professional life.

Deeply rooted in the philosophy of Phenomenology, Field Theory and Dialogue and inclusive of contemporary inter-subjective and somatic theories, the GTS training program embraces a relational perspective in understanding the human condition, development, growth and change.
GTS emphasises the importance of relational support and awareness as ingredients for a holistic and balanced way of being in the world.

The GTS Core Training in Gestalt Therapy offers an experiential, theoretically comprehensive and creative approach to the development of Gestalt Therapists, graduates of which gain eligibility to become members of Gestalt Australia New Zealand (GANZ) and to be listed on the Australian Register of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (ARCAP- PACFA)
